Privacy

CineDuello needs no account and does not collect personal data such as your name, email or phone number. Our server keeps only a random player code; your progress stays on your device.

What the server stores

Questions come from our server in Turkey. The only data the server keeps about you is:

• A randomly generated player code. It does not reveal who you are.
• A hash of that code's secret key (not the key itself).

Your IP address is held briefly in memory only to prevent abuse.

What stays on your device

Your game progress (points, level, streak, achievements and settings such as sound and haptics) stays only on your device and is not sent to the server, the developer or any third party.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is processed to run the game and keep your progress (performance of the service / legitimate interest). No data that identifies you is collected.

Sharing and third parties

Data is not shared with third parties. The app contains no ads, analytics, crash reporting or tracking.

Backups

If your operating system's own backup (Android/iOS) is turned on, the progress file may be included in it; that backup is handled by your OS provider. On iOS, your progress is also kept in the device's Keychain so it can come back if you delete and reinstall the app.

Retention and deletion

A player code that is not used for 90 days is deleted from the server automatically.

• Settings → Player code → "Delete my player code": deletes your player code and its server record. Your progress on the device stays; a new code is created the next time you play.
• Profile → "Reset progress": deletes your progress on the device. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Duels with friends

No names are used in duels: the match shows "You" and "Rival". Your player code is shown only to the person you invite.

Children

The app is not directed at children; since it collects no personal data, there is no age-dependent processing.

Your rights (GDPR, KVKK)

Because your progress lives on your device, you can exercise access, correction and deletion directly in the app, and you can delete your player code there too. For anything else, write to info@knowduello.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
